For most people sex is a private subject that they do not discuss in public. However, for teachers, educators and counsellors it is necessary to talk about sex with young people. When they grow up, young people have to learn about sex and when they do this only on the streets, they will be quite misinformed. Talking about lesbian, gay, and bisexual sexualities may even be more difficult, especially in a multicultural context.
